Sec. 2151.051. NATURE AND COMPOSITION OF ASSOCIATION. (a) The Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association is a nonprofit corporate body composed of all authorized insurers. (b) Each authorized insurer must be a member of the association as a condition of the insurer's authority to write automobile liability insurance in this state. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff. April 1, 2007.
